the bulbs are great but even some printed matter. is hard to read even with the great lumens figure.
I know there are various designations of brightness so if you could recommend the absolute brightest type of an LED bulb please let me know. Lampshades are a problem too.
Yhank you,
Bob M.
Great bulb for those of us who need more light to read than we used to. Also creates little or no heat for a standard 3 way switch that doesn’t hold up to incandescent 200-250 watt bulbs. Packaged well for shipping. Arrived undamaged.
I inherited a torchiere that came with a 50-200-250 bulb. Since it directs light to the ceiling, the bright setting is more important than a table lamp. Shortly after I started using it, the incandescent bulb blew out noisily, so I went hunting for an LED replacement. This bulb is perfect. Very bright, yet provides soft room light when on the low setting.
Bulbs work well. Have a good light for reading. Originally ordered 2 bulbs, 1 was defective at delivery. GT-Lite replaced the bulb quickly at no additional cost to me. Good company to do business with!
In my opinion 3400 lumens is the perfect temperature of light. I wish the lightbulb industry would settle on this number instead of offering so many bulbs that are too cool or too warm. Also, I wish I could get a smaller 3way 3400 lumen bulb for lamps with smaller harps.
GT-A21-52025-SW 3-Way bulb 50-200-250W lasted only 9 months with less than 8 hours per day usage, in a 3-way table lamp. Quality of light was great until intermittent flashing for over a month continued and finally ended with no light at all. An "energy efficient" bulb costing $11.99 with such a short life span is an inefficient use of resources. Definitely not a GREEN" product.Give me an incandescent!
These are absolutely the worst light bulbs I've ever used. I never write reviews but these bulbs have the shortest life of any bulbs that I've ever seen, even incandescent. I bought about 8 of these expensive bulbs and they were nice and bright. Over the last 8 months or so all but one have burnt out. That is unacceptable for a bulb costing around 10 dollars. I have the previous generation of this product from about 7 years ago and those two bulbs are amazing and still going strong but gt-lite must have cheapened their production without cheapening the cost. Unacceptable.
